The current rate of cesarean section in the United States is 40-50%. The World Health Organization states that this rate should not be higher than 15%. That is a huge discrepancy! Once common cause for cesarean section is improper position of the baby. This could include breech or transverse position of the baby. Many women are told that their only option to help their baby turn is a rather uncomfortable, not very successful procedure, called an external version. ?
When a pregnant woman is told that her baby is in the breech position, she is commonly given two options: 1) schedule a cesarean section or 2) do an External Cephalic Version (ECV). What many pregnant women do not know is that there is another option: The Chiropractic Webster Technique.
